"Buster"  Limited Prep SCCA H Production MG Midget
This car was built to new limited prep specs now offered in SCCA club racing. Limited prep for the most part allows larger, lesser prepped motors to run in classes where smaller more prepped motors have been the norm.  Also Limited prep require a suspension closer to stock, allowing modfications, but retaining stock mounting points.  What all this means is more engine reliablity and lower build cost and less re-engineering the car's supension which in the long run cost less money all the way around.   In the Spridget's case the stock type supension is very good and within this rule set a very good handling car can be built, there are alot of aftermarket items available for this type of suspension also.  This car was built from a cherry rust-free tub on a rostisserie.  Almost every aspect of this car was built in-house at Acme Speed Shop.  This car is a good example of what we at Acme can do with with a clean sheet of paper, building a new car from stratch is not for everybody and thier budget, but if you want your way and your way only this is the best route to take.
