"Bamm Bamm" SCCA FP Austin Healey Sprite
This was the car that started it all for me and Acme Speed Shop. I started on this car when I still was Goodyear dealer in my spare time. We named the car for the Flintstone's charcter Bamm Bamm, small but strong. I took alot of pride in restoring this car. I had been around this car for most of my racing carrer, first watching Tom Speed race the car and then Bill Davis. I bought the car in 1996 and re did it from top to bottom and stared racing it in 1998. I won the 2000 SCCA SARRC championship in this car and competed in the 2001 and 2002 SCCA runoffs with this car. Alot of items on this car grabbed the interest of my fellow racers, who then got me to do stuff to their car, this all led into what is now Acme Speed Shop.
